Team Canada Working Equitation
Congratulations, Team Canada Working Equitation, on earning Working Equitation Team Bronze and many individual awards for Trish Hyatt and the Working Equitation Canada team at DevonWood Equestrian Centre in Sherwood, Oregon!
I could show and win in my Easy Fit Saddle, which was not built for this horse because I could shim the panels. Thanks, Allen, for the unique design and comfort of this saddle.
Not to mention, it looks good.
Team Canada did awesome at the Working Equitation United States’ first annual national and A-rated show. The team won the bronze medal and many individual ribbons. Follow their pics and progress on the Working Equitation Canada page.
BC was represented by Trish Hyatt, BC director, WE United Technical Delegate, Coach, Clinician, and creator of the online program Working Equitation Simplified.
Trish brought back to BC a first in dressage, a first in ease of handling, a second in the speed trial and Champion of the Novice A division of the A-rated show on a young green trail horse known affectionately as Baybee.
Meryle Hilberry accompanied as groom and gopher, and we had four BC supporters come to introduce themselves and cheer us on: Mandy Blais and friend, Sandy Lang and friend. Sorry, I can’t remember their names, but my brain was full of patterns.
Thank you, everyone, for your support, and I look for more great things happening as the sport develops here in BC.
