It may be comfortable, but it sure doesn’t do justice to how you feel after an hour’s ride in that thing. Why suffer when there is such amazing relief waiting just around the corner? Stirrup turners along with canted or angled bottom stirrups offer superior comfort, balance and control taking the strain off your ankles and knees, Our foam-covered 3″ stirrup treads act as a shock absorber like riding on air. The nylon webbing stirrup strap and cable rigging reduce the layers of leather under your thigh (by as much as 1 inch) to allow your leg to hang naturally and make close contact with your horse. seat. Our seat is wider in the rear to accommodate women’s wider sit bone widths, and narrower in the thigh area (cable rigging and nylon stirrup strap) to accommodate women’s narrower thigh bone angle. The shape of the ground seat is critical to the usability of the saddle, everybody is built differently and our adjustable tush cush seat insert can create a ground seat that works for you. Moving the shim forward or backward will change the pocket to suit. Thickness can be adjusted to make the seat feel narrower. Thigh support can be adjusted to your pelvis width (getting even support over as much area of your butt and thighs as possible eliminate pressure points and soreness. The insert can be used to level out the seat under the pubic bone to allow for an individual’s lower public bone and or a downhill horse. Righthand dominant riders tend to ride heavily on the right side (saddle always slipping off to the right) a shim under the right sit bone will help shift the weight. The idea of a ground seat is to achieve a neutral pelvis angle, and eliminate bracing and sore back, shoulder and neck.
More padding is NOT always better.
